Condolences on death from Protestants
The Irish Times10
July 2001
The mother of the murdered Antrim man, Mr Ciaran Cummings, said yesterday
her family had been inundated with messages of condolence from the Republic
and from the Protestant community in the North.
Speaking on RTE, Ms Kate Cummings said the community in Antrim had been
"fantastic" following the death of her 19-year-old son last Wednesday.
The only reason her son had been killed was that he was a Catholic, she
said. "I hope no other mother and father have to go through this."
